Welcome to Kunming, known as the "Spring City" for its mild climate year-round and rich ethnic diversity.
Upon arrival at Kunming Changshui International Airport, your guide and driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in the city center. After check-in, the rest of the day is free for rest and recovery after international travel.

After breakfast at the hotel, begin a relaxed introduction to Kunming at a slow and comfortable pace.
The morning visit focuses on a local Hui Muslim community area, where guests can observe the daily life of Kunming's Muslim population. The guide will introduce the history of Islam in Yunnan and its connection to the Silk Road extension routes into Southwest China. Nearby halal food streets and small community mosques may also be visited depending on timing.
Continue to Green Lake Park, one of Kunming's most famous urban parks. The walking route is flat and shaded, with plenty of seating areas. Guests can enjoy watching local life, birds, and traditional street performances, or simply relax by the lake.
After lunch at a certified halal restaurant, return to the hotel for a rest break in the afternoon. No further activities are scheduled to maintain a comfortable senior-friendly rhythm.

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the train station for a comfortable high-speed rail journey to Dali. The journey passes through scenic mountain landscapes and rural Yunnan countryside.

Continue to Blue Moon Valley, known for its turquoise-colored water and scenic mountain reflections. Shuttle buses are used throughout the site to minimize walking.

You may also take a gentle stroll through Baisha Ancient Village, a quieter and less crowded heritage town near Lijiang, known for its traditional Naxi architecture, murals, and slow village atmosphere.
