Start your city exploration at Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, the symbolic center of Chongqing. It is an ideal place to observe Chongqing’s fast-paced urban lifestyle.
Visit Kuixing Building, a unique architectural landmark that demonstrates Chongqing’s unusual terrain. Because the city is built on hills, different levels of buildings and roads often create surprising visual effects. This area provides a great introduction to Chongqing’s famous “3D city” character.
In the evening, visit Hongya Cave, Chongqing’s most iconic riverside attraction. Built along the cliff beside the Jialing River, Hongya Cave combines traditional Bayu-style architecture with modern urban design.
