Welcome to Zhangjiajie, a destination famous for its towering sandstone peaks, deep valleys, and ancient forests. Upon arrival at airport or train station, your private guide and driver will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in the Wulingyuan area.
After check-in, begin your journey with a visit to Baofeng Lake, a peaceful mountain lake surrounded by dramatic cliffs and green forests. A short boat ride across the lake offers beautiful views of waterfalls, mountains, and traditional Tujia-style scenery.
In the evening, enjoy a halal dinner arranged according to your dietary requirements. Rest at your hotel and prepare for the following days of exploring Zhangjiajie’s famous natural landscapes.
Today, enter Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the highlight of your journey and one of China’s most spectacular natural areas.
Take the famous Bailong Elevator, the world’s highest outdoor glass elevator, which carries visitors from the valley floor to the mountain top in just a few minutes.
Continue to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, famous for its unique sandstone pillars rising into the sky. Visit the iconic Avatar Hallelujah Mountain, the natural formation that inspired the floating mountains in the movie Avatar.
In the afternoon, explore Yangjiajie Scenic Area, a quieter but equally beautiful part of the park. Known for steep cliffs, narrow mountain paths, and dramatic rock formations, Yangjiajie provides a deeper experience of Zhangjiajie’s natural beauty.
Return to the hotel after sightseeing and enjoy a halal dinner.
After breakfast, continue exploring Zhangjiajie National Forest Park with Tianzi Mountain, one of the most famous scenic areas in the region.
Known as the “King of Peaks”, Tianzi Mountain offers some of the best panoramic views in Zhangjiajie. Thousands of sandstone peaks stretch across the horizon, creating a spectacular landscape that changes with different weather conditions. On misty days, the mountains appear like islands floating above the clouds.
After enjoying the mountain views, descend to Golden Whip Stream, one of Zhangjiajie’s most beautiful walking routes.
In the late afternoon, experience local Tujia ethnic culture, one of the important cultural traditions of western Hunan. Learn about traditional architecture, customs, and the lifestyle of the local people.

Today, visit one of Zhangjiajie’s most famous modern attractions — the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge.
The bridge stretches across the canyon between two mountain cliffs and provides spectacular views of the valley below. Walking across the transparent glass floor is an exciting experience and one of the most memorable activities in Zhangjiajie.
After crossing the bridge, continue exploring the canyon area. The walking paths lead through forests, streams, and waterfalls, offering a peaceful experience surrounded by nature.
After sightseeing, return to Zhangjiajie city and enjoy a halal dinner.
On the final day, visit Tianmen Mountain, Zhangjiajie’s most iconic landmark and a symbol of the city.
Take the Tianmen Mountain Cable Car, one of the longest cable car journeys in the world. During the ride, enjoy breathtaking views of Zhangjiajie’s mountains, forests, and the famous winding mountain road below.
At the summit, walk along the mountain cliff paths and experience the Glass Skywalk, a transparent walkway built along the edge of the mountain. The spectacular views make this one of the most exciting experiences in Zhangjiajie.
Continue to Tianmen Cave, a huge natural arch formed through the mountain. Known as the “Gateway to Heaven”, this impressive geological wonder has attracted visitors for generations and is one of Zhangjiajie’s most photographed landmarks.
