Detailed Itinerary
Welcome to Zhangjiajie, a city surrounded by spectacular mountains, deep valleys, and ancient forests. Upon arrival, your private guide and driver will meet you at the airport or train station and transfer you to your hotel.
After settling in, visit Baofeng Lake, a peaceful mountain lake surrounded by green cliffs and waterfalls. A boat ride across the clear lake offers beautiful views of the surrounding peaks and allows you to experience the quiet natural atmosphere of Wulingyuan.
In the evening, enjoy a halal dinner arranged by your guide. You can relax at your hotel and prepare for the following days of exploring Zhangjiajie’s famous mountain landscapes.
Today, enter the UNESCO-listed Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the highlight of your Zhangjiajie journey. The park is famous for its thousands of tall quartz sandstone pillars rising dramatically from the forest, creating a landscape unlike anywhere else in the world.
Take the Bailong Elevator, the world’s highest outdoor glass elevator, built directly into the side of a cliff. The elevator quickly brings visitors to the mountain top, where you can enjoy incredible views of the surrounding peaks.
Continue to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, one of Zhangjiajie’s most impressive areas. Walk along mountain trails and viewpoints to see the famous Avatar Hallelujah Mountain, a towering rock pillar that inspired the scenery of the movie Avatar.
In the afternoon, explore Tianzi Mountain, known as the “King of Peaks”. The area features endless mountain ranges, mist-covered valleys, and spectacular viewpoints, especially when clouds surround the peaks.
After sightseeing, return to your hotel and enjoy a halal dinner.
After breakfast, head to the famous Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, home to one of the world’s most exciting glass bridges.
The Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge stretches between two mountain cliffs above a deep canyon. Walking across the transparent bridge provides thrilling views of the valley below and offers one of the most memorable experiences in Zhangjiajie.
After crossing the bridge, explore the canyon area with its wooden walkways, streams, waterfalls, and green forests. The peaceful environment provides a different experience from the dramatic mountain peaks of Yuanjiajie.
In the afternoon, visit Baofeng Lake (if not visited on Day 1) or enjoy a relaxed cultural experience around Wulingyuan. Your guide can arrange suitable activities according to your travel pace.
Enjoy a halal dinner before returning to your hotel.
Today, explore Tianmen Mountain, one of Zhangjiajie’s most famous landmarks. Known as the “Mountain of Heaven”, Tianmen Mountain combines spectacular scenery with unique natural and cultural attractions.
Take the Tianmen Mountain Cable Car, one of the longest cable car rides in the world. During the journey, enjoy incredible views of Zhangjiajie city, forests, cliffs, and winding mountain roads.
At the mountain top, walk along the cliffside pathways and experience the famous Glass Skywalk, a transparent walkway attached to the side of the mountain. The dramatic views make it one of Zhangjiajie’s most exciting attractions.
Continue to Tianmen Cave, a huge natural arch opening through the mountain. Known as the “Gateway to Heaven”, this impressive geological wonder has been an important symbol of Zhangjiajie for centuries.
After sightseeing, your private driver will transfer you to Zhangjiajie airport or train station for your onward journey.
